Mattel and Disney introduce their newest toy that will melt your heart. Cars Micro Drifters are tiny and fast. Every child and adult will love collecting these toys.

New from Mattel, Disney Pixar Cars Micro Drifters Motorized Super Speedway.  This action packed race track is great for children ages 4 and up.  Some assembly required and requires 3 "C" batteries.  Join Lightning McQueen in a race to the finish as the motorized starting line pushes the Micro Drifters up the ramp allowing for these speedy racers to drift around the corners and speed down the track to the finish line.  Multi Car, Side by Side Racing at its finest.  This speedway includes (1) Lightning McQueen Micro Drifter Car, other cars sold separately.  
Each sold separately, (3) Micro Drifters cars come in a package priced around $6.99 each pack.  These cars are handsome and super fast.  Your kids will want to collect all of them.   The speedway retails for approximately $36.99 depending on the retailer you go.  This is a great gift for kids ages 4 years and older, due to the size of the toy. The race track in this picture was a custom downhill course used just for the Mattel event we were invited to however just look at these kids playing and having a great time. It was hard to pull my kids away from the CARS Micro Drifter toy test drive.  I loved watching them smile and enjoy themselves.

State Testing CCSS SBAC is starting next week for our area.  This semester, my son's fourth grade teacher has asked that I write him a letter of encouragement.  She gave us a few weeks notice. Learn how to make a California Mission Model at home or in the classroom. We made this project as part of the California Public School Fourth grade requirement in a group setting. Continue to read on to get the supply list and instructions for a successful mission model. On an ordinary day, I was reminded how amazing kids really are when there are no limits. Just as equally amazing are the teachers who guide them and teach them everyday.  I am very thankful for the opportunity that I was given as a parent volunteer.  The day was like a beautiful dance where parents, teachers and students came together for a common goal. The goal was to make models of California Missions from a simple picture and lots of cardboard.  I can honestly say the goal was reached and everyone deserved an "A".

Field Trip to Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament - Buena Park

My family and I were invited to Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament for an afternoon of entertainment. I want to tell you about our journey into the Middle Ages via Medieval Times. It began at the will-call window with the kind clerk suggesting we visit their museum for a small fee. We said yes immediately to exploring their Middle Ages Museum called “The Museum of Torture”. It sounded interesting and educational to see Medieval exhibits. As we headed to the museum, a women dressed in traditional Middle Ages attire adorned all of us with blue crowns. We were assigned Don Alberto Del Mau as our Knight for the tournament. This meant we would have to cheer and support our Knight into battle. Don Alberto Del Mau is a young squire who is renowned as a champion of the defenseless.   Armed with this knowledge, we set out to visit the Museum of Torture.     Inside the museum, we realized that living in the Middle ages was a terrible time for all who crossed Royalty. ...
